Jnr Chef focuses on cookery services for families, providing children with a valuable opportunity to learn and cook from ingredient preparation to creating a finished dish.
The Idea
Jnr Chef wanted to create a web portal that provides interactive children's cookery lessons for families with all the ingredients delivered to their doorstep. Administrators would be allowed to create, update and delete recipes
The Research
The research involved finding the best scalable video hosting platform and explored various subscription models to align with the warehouse delivery dates and subscription start dates for accessing the Jnr Chef web portal.
Additionally, different achievement systems were considered to enhance engagement and provide a sense of accomplishment for family members as they progress through each lesson.
The Solution
A Jnr Chef web portal was developed supporting multiple account types from family members to administrators. Family members are able to update their account type by updating their current subscription model.
The admin portal enables administrators to update, modify and delete recipes as well as upload and manage content for all recipes. The administrator can view a list of customers needing ingredients delivered for the upcoming recipe.
