The Idea
PH.Creative approached Matmi to create a "Wall of Thanks" portal for Intuitive Surgical.
This aims to promote gratitude and unity among Intuitive Surgical's employees worldwide by celebrating their contributions and fostering a more inclusive and appreciative work atmosphere.
The Research
The research involves finding methods to dynamically modify text within Lottie Files animations before each animation cycle begins. Once a certain threshold is reached, the system should replace the current list of recipients with a new one, ensuring no disruptions to the ongoing animation.
The Solution
Intuitive Surgical's employees can access the web portal to submit a gratitude message to a chosen recipient. The web portal is also used for projecting all approved messages.
The projection page initially loads a list of approved messages, sourced from a database and stored in the client-side memory. Once the data is available, the Lottie Files animation begins. It starts by displaying the first employee's data at the top of the list, with the background colour changing to represent one of the four different pillars of gratitude. The ring animation gradually fills up as it gets closer to the end of each cycle, while sequentially showing each employee's gratitude data after each animation cycle.
The admin portal allows administrators to monitor submitted messages and approve or delete them as needed.
